Newcastle United striker Aleksandar Mitrovic has revealed the gruesome cut to his knee that forced him off during Saturday's FA Cup third round tie at Birmingham City.
The Serbian needed oxygen after sustaining the deep cut to his knee and was taken to hospital for further treatment after colliding with Blues goalkeeper Adam Legzdins in the build-up to Daryl Murphy's opening goal at St Andrew's.
A photograph of Mitrovic's knee posted by Serbian newspaper BlicSport showed the extent of the damage, with a report saying the ligament damage wasn't too bad and he could return in a month.
