Newcastle United commentator Mick Lowes is to step down after 25 years of covering the Magpies.
The BBC Newcastle broadcaster said it had been "an honour, joy and privilege" to commentate on "one of the world's great football clubs".
Originally from Nottingham, Mick joined BBC Newcastle from Capital Radio in 1991 and moved to Metro radio in 1994 before returning to the BBC in 2002.
His final commentary will take place on 26 November against Blackburn Rovers.
