Newcastle United are hopeful of signing goalkeeper Martin Dubravka from Sparta Prague on loan.
The 29-year-old, formerly of Zilina, Esbjerg and Slovan Liberec, has nine senior caps for Slovakia.
Dubravka featured in five of Slovakia's World Cup 2018 qualifiers, keeping clean sheets against Slovenia and Malta.

He also played against England and Scotland as he was beaten by strikes from Eric Dier, Marcus Rashford and a Martin Skrtel own goal.
Dubravka got a taste of English football in 2010 when his former club Zilina played Chelsea home and away in the Champions League, losing 6-2 on aggregate.
