Players and directors of Newcastle United were among the hundreds of mourners at the funeral of the club's long serving tea lady Kath Cassidy on Wednesday morning.
Cassidy died last month at the age of 90 having worked for the Magpies for over half a century, during which time she became one of the most loved figures at the football club.
Former goalkeeper Steve Harper, defender Bobby Moncur and the club's managing director Lee Charnley were among those who turned out to pay their respects.
Cassidy had worked at Newcastle since 1963 under 26 different managers, and worked in the press box on match days where she became a popular figure with the journalists.
