Newcastle United have switched their attentions to Sparta Prague goalkeeper Martin Dubravka after Kevin Trapp opted to stay at Paris St Germain.
Rafa Benitez is keen to bring in a goalkeeper on loan and Slovakia international Dubravka is the latest to be considered.
The 28-year-old has impressed for his country in their World Cup qualifying campaign and Benitez is hopeful of reaching an agreement before the weekend.

The Magpies have rotated their goalkeepers for the majority of this season.
