Newcastle striker Callum Wilson has spoken out after suffering another injury setback that will rule him out until 2025.
Wilson had only recently returned from a four-month layoff and was expected to ease the workload on top scorer Alexander Isak.
However, Mail Sport exclusively revealed on Wednesday that he will be sidelined for two months after picking up a hamstring injury.
Wilson has struggled with his fitness for an extended period at St James' Park, and admitted his latest blow has been hard to take.
'Despite all the hard work I've put in pushing to get back to full fitness, I need to take a little step backwards unfortunately, guys,' Wilson wrote on X.
