Newcastle 'planning a summer move for Arsenal defender Kieran Tierney' as Eddie Howe's side look to improve on impressive season, with the Scot 'set to cost £30m' if the Gunners allow him to move

Newcastle are planning a move for Kieran Tierney, according to a report.

The defender has found himself out of favour at Arsenal this season with Oleksandr Zinchenko ahead of him in the pecking order.

He has made just 113 appearances since joining the club from Celtic in 2019, having struggled with injuries.

He's made 17 appearances in the league this season, but has accumulated a total of just 468 minutes, an average of 27.5 minutes a game.

According to the Telegraph, Eddie Howe's side are keeping tabs on the 25-year-old ahead of a potential summer move.
