Former Newcastle defender Philippe Albert has been involved in a car crash in Belgium which has left a father and baby injured.
The accident occurred at a roundabout on the N90 road heading towards Charleroi at around 1.30pm on Thursday local time, according to reports in Belgium, with Albert said to be driving one of the two cars involved.
Albert was said to be driving his Suzuki Vitara when the second car emerged from a slip road and collided with the left side of the former defender's vehicle.
Both vehicles then came to a rest on the roundabout, with Albert leaving the scene unharmed despite images showing his airbag had deployed during the incident.
