Newcastle have announced that rising star Lewis Hall will miss the rest of the season due to a foot injury.
Mail Sport exclusively revealed on Tuesday that Hall, 20, would miss the Carabao Cup final on March 16 after sitting out Newcastle's FA Cup defeat by Brighton on Sunday.
He has now seen a specialist to determine the extent of the injury, and it has been decided that surgery is required.
Newcastle confirmed the devastating news in a statement on Wednesday morning that read: 'Lewis Hall will miss the rest of the 2024/25 season after sustaining an injury to a bone in his foot.
