Newcastle are set to miss out on Atalanta full-back Robin Gosens this January as he is set to favour a move to Inter Milan, according to reports.
The German full-back, who has been out injured with a hamstring problem since September, impressed at Euro 2020 and has been a target for some of Europe's top teams for some time.
Reports in Italy claimed this month that mega-rich Newcastle are ready to triple the 27-year-old's wages as they look to bolster their squad ahead of the relegation battle run-in.

But according to Goal, Gosens prefers a move to Inter - who have offered Atalanta the possibility of a loan until the end of the season with an option to by the German for £21million in the summer.
