Newcastle United are monitoring developments with Leeds United forward Tyler Roberts.
The Wales international only has one year left on contract and Leeds boss Marcelo Bielsa appreciates the 22-year old's versatility in being able to play as an attacking midfielder or across the frontline.
So much so, Leeds have moved to offer him a new long-term deal. Roberts came on as a substitute in Saturday's convincing 4-0 win over Burnley and has at times cut a frustrated figure at not cementing a starting place.
Newcastle are keeping an eye on the situation.
