Miguel Almiron netted a late winner for Newcastle off the bench as they defeated Wolves 2-1 at St James' Park.
Heading into the game on a five-game winless streak, the hosts started well and Alexander Isak headed them in front from a fine Kieran Trippier cross to score his first goal in almost two months.
They proceeded to dominate before Wolves came out firing in the second half and equalised after Kieran Trippier slipped while attempting to clear, with Hwang Hee-Chan tapping home with his first touch after coming on.
However, Newcastle regained control and Almiron - who had been dropped to the bench by Eddie Howe - netted his 11th Premier League goal of the season as he curled home, via a slight deflection of Max Kilman.
