Newcastle were held to a goalless draw by Crystal Palace in controversial circumstances.

Eddie Howe's side thought they had scored through an own goal but it was disallowed for a foul by Joe Willock on Palace goalkeeper Vicente Guaita even though Willock was pushed by Tyrick Mitchell.
