Manchester United fans have flocked to social media to mock Jonjo Shelvey for his horrific challenge on Paul Pogba, which left a mark on the French midfielder.
Shelvey avoided a red card in the second half on Wednesday evening after he caught Pogba on the back of the knee with his studs.
The shocking tackle was heavily condemned online as United supporters were left flabbergasted as to why Shelvey failed to see a card for the foul.
Despite being on the receiving end of the nasty challenge, Pogba saw the funny side of things as he took to social media to ask his followers to caption a photo of him showing off the mark left by the Newcastle playmaker.
