Leeds United have confirmed the £400,000 signing of goalkeeper Karl Darlow from Newcastle United on a permanent deal.
The 32-year-old has signed a three-year deal which will keep him at Elland Road until 2026 and is the club's second signing of the summer, following the arrival of Ethan Ampadu from Chelsea.
In a statement released on Saturday the club said they were 'delighted to announce the signing' of the experienced shot-stopper while also claiming they had 'beaten a number of other clubs' to acquire him.
Mail Sport reported earlier this week that the Whites had been closing in on a deal to sign the Nottingham Forest academy graduate.
