Leeds are advancing in talks to sign Newcastle United goalkeeper Karl Darlow after his planned move to Bournemouth fell through.
Darlow, 32, who spent last season on loan at Hull City, had spoken to Bournemouth but they chose to sign Inter Milan's Ionut Radu yesterday.
Mail Sport reported earlier this month that Andoni Iraola's side had stepped up their interest in the stopper, who has two years remaining on his St James' Park deal.
The experienced former Nottingham Forest man last played for the Magpies in their Carabao Cup win against Tranmere last August and spent the season at Hull on loan.
