Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher believes that his former club must sign at least two new attacking players this summer.
The Reds were beaten 2-1 by Newcastle United in Sunday's Carabao Cup final at Wembley Stadium.
That result, which came just five days after a Champions League exit at the hands of Paris Saint-Germain, means that Arne Slot's men have now lost five games in all competitions this calendar year, despite being unbeaten in the Premier League since September.
Slot replaced Jurgen Klopp as Liverpool manager last summer and has since only made one first-team signing, bringing in Federico Chiesa - who scored a late consolation goal on Sunday following strikes from Dan Burn and Alexander Isak.
