Steven Taylor has returned to English football after agreeing a deal to join Championship side Ipswich Town until the end of the season.
Taylor, 31, was a product of Newcastle United's academy and spent 13 years at the club he supported as a boy.
Now the Whitley Bay-born centre back could face the Magpies for the very first time when Ipswich play Newcastle in the Championship on April 17.

Taylor arrives at Portman Road on a free transfer after his contract with MLS club Portland Timbers, who he joined after quitting St James' Park, was cancelled by mutual consent in December.
