Harry Redknapp is confident Tottenham will complete the signing of Newcastle midfielder Moussa Sissoko and believes shrewd chairman Daniel Levy may have another deadline day surprise up his sleeve.
Spurs have made a move for France midfielder Sissoko, who has been keen to leave St James’ Park this summer following the club's relegation to the Championship.
The Magpies had valued the 27-year-old at £35million after impressing at Euro 2016, but Tottenham hope to land him for considerably less before Wednesday’s 11pm deadline and have bid just £16m initially.
