Steve Bruce says he'd back himself to be successful under Newcastle's prospective new owners with the club's takeover awaiting Premier League approval.
The Saudi-led consortium have not yet received official word of them passing the owners' and directors' test, although sources close to the £300million deal remain confident that will be the case.
Once that happens the group will transfer the outstanding balance of £283m to Mike Ashley and they will begin to implement plans that have been months in the making.
And Bruce, who returned to training with his players this week, hopes to be part of that process going forward.
