Former Newcastle midfielder Kieron Dyer has criticised his old club for being 'boring' over the last five years in the Premier League.
Of the teams outside of the Premier League's bottom four, only Wolves had found the net fewer times than Steve Bruce's side before a goalless first half between the two goal-shy teams at Molineux on Sunday.
Midfielder Jonjo Shelvey's six goals made him the only player to score more than four for the club in the Premier League last season.
Ex-England international Dyer told Sky Sports: 'Steve Bruce has done a good job but I am bored watching Newcastle.
