Anthony Gordon has revealed he is refusing to book a summer holiday - because he wants to be with England at Euro 2024 in Germany.
The 23-year-old sat down with Mail Sport for his first exclusive newspaper interview as a Newcastle player this week, tackling the perception of him, his debt of gratitude to Eddie Howe, his Liverpool upbringing and his obsessive personality.
Gordon spoke openly and candidly, especially on the subject of England and his hope for a first senior call-up this coming Thursday.
'I'm not going to shy away from my aim of going to the Euros,' he said.
