Leeds striker Chris Wood, Newcastle forward Dwight Gayle and Brighton winger Anthony Knockaert have been nominated for the EFL's Championship Player of the Year award.
New Zealand's Wood, 24, has scored 24 league goals so far this season.
Gayle, 26, has 21 goals from 28 league games since joining leaders Newcastle from Crystal Palace for £10m.
Former Leicester man Knockaert, 25, has scored 13 goals to help Chris Hughton's side to second in the table.
League One leaders Sheffield United have two of the three nominees for the third tier award, with the division's top scorer Billy Sharp, 31, and midfielder John Fleck, 25, nominated alongside Scunthorpe forward Josh Morris, 25.
