Eddie Howe will consider removing a ‘very remorseful’ Joelinton from the Newcastle side after the midfielder was charged with drink-driving - but says the club’s Saudi Arabian owners will leave the decision to him.
The Brazilian was arrested in the early hours of Thursday and will appear in court later this month. The Magpies, currently third in the Premier League, host Fulham on Sunday and Howe says they could yet do so without the 26-year-old.
