Newcastle United have signed Moroccan full-back Achraf Lazaar, the Championship club have announced.
24-year-old Lazaar has agreed a five-year deal with the Magpies, linking up with Rafa Benitez's men after leaving Serie A side Palermo.
He becomes the 11th signing of the summer window for the Tyneside club, and is the second of the day following the arrival of former Ipswich Town striker Daryl Murphy.
Lazaar, who has 16 international caps, told the club's official website: "I am very happy to be at Newcastle United.
"I'm proud to sign here because Newcastle is a great team in England.
