A century-old FA Cup winner's medal has sold at auction in a lot worth more than £10,000.
Newcastle United goalkeeper William Bradley was awarded the medal at Wembley Stadium on 26 April 1924, following the team's 2-0 victory against Aston Villa.
It was sold in a Newcastle auction by Mr Bradley's grandson, also called William Bradley, who said: "I feel pleased to share it with the world."
The lot was won by a buyer who said the medal would be put on display at a public home, auctioneers Anderson & Garland said.
The prize, alongside an inscribed pocket watch and other memorabilia including the match day programme, was sold for £10,140 on Thursday.
