The energy Newcastle United displayed in Wednesday's Champions League match against AC Milan was more like what we have come to expect from the Magpies under Eddie Howe. Yes, the result wasn't what home fans wanted, but the sheer determination of Howe's side to try to reach the knockout stages is to be applauded.
