The New York Yankees already made one blockbuster trade before the MLB Trade Deadline and they might not be done yet. The Yankees are reportedly still looking for first base help.
Even w/T Frazier acquisition, source says Yankees remain open to 1B trade. Happy to go with Headley/Cooper, but not shutting door on others.

As Feinsand mentions, the Yankees will stick with a platoon of Chase Headley (who moved to 1B after the Todd Frazier trade) and Garret Cooper. Neither are ideal candidates as the Yankees wait for youngster Greg Bird to get healthy. However, the Yankees don't appear hell-bent on adding a first baseman.
Joel Sherman of the New York Post reports the Yankees are looking for help at the spot, but they don't have urgency. The Yankees are committed to keeping their top prospects, which is why they didn't land Jose Quintana and likely won't land another starter like Sonny Gray.

If the Yankees do make a deal for a first baseman, there are two main targets: Yonder Alonso of the Oakland A's and Lucas Duda of the New York Mets. Both are rental players, with Alonso in the midst of a breakout year. While Alonso's salary is smaller, he'd likely cost more in terms of prospects. He appears to be the main target if the Yankees add first baseman. Duda wouldn't be as expensive in terms of prospects.
