The New York Yankees already landed the biggest prize of the offseason on Saturday in Giancarlo Stanton, who they acquired in a trade with the Miami Marlins. But that's far from the only move the Yankees will make this offseason. Yesterday's Yankees Rumors Roundup covered the latest on New York's pursuit of Gerrit Cole and C.C. Sabathia, so I'd recommend starting there so you don't miss any news. With the Winter Meetings here, more moves will be on the way. Here are all the latest Yankees news & rumors you need to know:

Yankees May Get Manny Machado
The Chicago White Sox emerged Wednesday as the most aggressive suitor for Baltimore Orioles third baseman Manny Machado, according to The Athletic. There is, however, an interesting twist to this story.
If the White Sox can’t sign the 25-year-old star to a long-term contract extension — he's becoming a free agent after the 2018 season — they would look to flip Machado elsewhere. The team that would be the most obvious third party would be the Yankees.
Last season Machado batted .259 with 33 home runs, 95 RBIs and 81 runs scored in 156 games. A batting lineup with Giancarlo Stanton, Aaron Judge, Gary Sanchez and Machado may actually happen, whether it be this offseason or before the trade deadline.
Blue Jays Interested in C.C. Sabathia
Yesterday it was reported that the Yankees pitcher met with the Blue Jays and it sounds like the meeting went well. Ben Nicholson-Smith of Sportsnet Canada reports that the Blue Jays are giving serious consideration to pursuing CC Sabathia.
“I love him. I’ve always liked him. He’s coming off a big year,” Blue Jays manager John Gibbons said. “He’s a workhorse, man. He’s always pitched well against us. One of the great competitors in the game for a number of years. I thought he looked strong last year.”
Gibson also said, "We need more offense, there's no doubt about that in my mind." From that statement, it sounds like the offense is the Blue Jays top priority so the deal for Sabathia may take some time.

Gleyber Torres To Play Infield?
The Yankees need to fill the holes at second and third base and are looking to fill those positions in-house, but are also keeping their options open on the trade market and free agency, Yankees general manager Brian Cashman explained on Wednesday.
“We have kids who are hungry and trying to push their way in now.It just depends on how things shake out as we get into the dialogue.’’
One option to fill that infield void is Gleyber Torres, who is considered the best of the infield prospects, according to the New York Post. Yet Torres isn’t a lock to start at second or third on Opening Day. According to The Post’s Joel Sherman, the Yankees have been talking to the Diamondbacks about infielder Brandon Drury.
Drury was the Diamondbacks main second baseman last season, hitting .267 with 13 homers and 63 RBIs in 135 games.
