Yankees May Trade Giancarlo Stanton in 2018
The Yankees just acquired Stanton, but according to Nick Cafardo of The Boston Globe, the Yankees could trade Stanton to the Los Angeles Dodgers following the 2018 season.
It was reported that Stanton's' favorite destination before being dealt to the Yankees was the Dodgers. A trade between the Yankees and Dodgers would make sense since the Yankees have their eyes set on Washington Nationals outfielder Bryce Harper as a free agent following the 2018 season. Stanton may change his mind about leaving the Bronx after hitting beside AL Rookie of the Year Aaron Judge.

Making Room For Bryce Harper
As stated above, the Yankees are interested in Harper and the outfielder will become a free agent in 2018. He undoubtedly will have a number of suitors, but how many of them will be able to handle his expected $400 million contract? Because of that, the Yankees are emerging as the favorite to land Harper.
Even though Stanton was signed by the Yankees, many people thought Harper going to the Bronx would be impossible. According to the New York Post, Harper's agent Scott Boras refuses to rule out the Yankees as a future destination.
Yankees & Todd Frazier Close To A Deal
The Yankees appear to be getting close to bringing back third baseman Todd Frazier.
#Yankees and Todd Frazier are inching towards a deal for next season. @therealjleyritz is reporting it could be a one-year pact plus a player option. I think it makes all the sense in the world to have Frazier back in pinstripes.
