The MLB and the MLB Players Association announced Wednesday that every team around the league will wear non-traditional uniforms as part of the inaugural Players Weekend on Aug. 25-27. Players will wear colorful spikes, bats and gloves, and they will be wearing nicknames on the back of their jerseys.

It's the first time in franchise history that the New York Yankees will have names on the back of their jerseys. Here are the nicknames each player will be wearing on their jerseys during Players Weekend:
Aaron Hicks, 21 - A-A Ron
Aaron Judge, 99 - All Rise
Adam Warren, 43 - Rocket
Aroldis Chapman, 54 - The Missile
Austin Romine, 27 - Ro
Brett Gardner, 11 - Gardner
CC Sabathia, 52 - Dub
Chad Green, 57 - Greeny
Chase Headley, 12 - Head
Clint Frazier, 77 - Red Thunder
David Robertson, 30 - D-Rob
Dellin Betances, 68 - D. Dawg
Didi Gregorius, 18 - Sir Didi
Gary Sanchez, 24 - Kraken
Greg Bird, 33 - Bird
Jacoby Ellsbury, 22 - Chief
Jaime Garcia, 34 - J Gar
Jordan Montgomery, 47 - Monty
Luis Cessa, 85 - Quique
Luis Severino, 40 - Sevy
Masahiro Tanaka, 19 - Masa
Matt Holliday, 17 - Holliday
Michael Pineda, 35 - Big Mike
Ronald Torreyes, 74 - Toe

Players will also be able to wear shirts in workouts and interviews that will promote charities of their choice. Essentially, there are no rules as to what players can wear for the three-day stretch.
The Yankees will host the Seattle Mariners in a three-game series that weekend.
