New York Yankees manager Joe Girardi was not happy with home plate umpire Scott Barry in the Yankees' game against the Tampa Bay Rays Saturday. Girardi was ejected by Barry in the bottom of the fifth inning and elected to protest Barry by covering the entire plate in dirt. The video of the outburst by Girardi is below.

It's the second straight game the Yankees had issues with the strike zone. Girardi's ejection came moments after Yankees pitching coach Larry Rothschild was ejected.
Perhaps even funnier, was Barry's actions after the plate was covered with dirt. Rather than clean it, Barry left it covered for a few pitches.
This is the 37th career ejection for Joe Girardi. All but four have come with the Yankees. It's not a Phil Wellman meltdown, but the Rays crowd sure liked it.
