Yogi Berra’s loved ones paid tribute to their late dad at his museum on Thursday, saying he was the ultimate role model they all wanted to emulate.
“I wanted to be like him. I admired everything he did,” son Tim Berra, 64, said at the Yogi Berra Museum & Learning Center in New Jersey.
“Dad talked to the baker, the garbage man and the CEO in the same way. What you saw was what you got.”
Yogi Berra died Tuesday night at the age 90, touching off a wave of well wishes from across the baseball world.
