Yogi Berra's fans swung into immediate action for an overnight outpouring of grief after learning the Yankees legend died on the 69th anniversary of his major league debut.
The Yogi Berra Museum & Learning Center at Montclair State University was first to share news that the Hall of Famer had passed away early Wednesday morning.
“It is with heavy hearts that we share the news that Yogi Berra passed away Tuesday night at the age of 90,” the museum tweeted at 2 a.m.
