BOSTON -- Thanks to Gary Sanchez, Aaron Hicks, Luke Voit and Aaron Judge, the Yankees are poised to set the all-time record for club homers in a single season.
Sanchez belted a solo homer off Red Sox starter Brian Johnson in the third inning on Friday at Fenway Park, clearing the Green Monster. Hicks went deep off reliever William Cuevas in the fourth, Voit added on with a solo shot in the seventh and Judge tied the record with the team's 264th.
