BOSTON -- Aaron Boone couldn't have set it up any better.
Masahiro Tanaka had given Boone's Yankees 4 2/3 strong enough innings, keeping them in the game until their bats could get going. When Tanaka left, Boone handed the ball over to perhaps the game's most loaded bullpen -- first to David Robertson, Zach Britton and Dellin Betances, and then, finally, to Aroldis Chapman.
Robertson, Britton, and Betances did their jobs. But the hard-throwing Chapman couldn't harness his heat -- and the result was a devastating loss for the Yankees.
