NEW YORK -- Before the first pitch of Tuesday night's game against the Royals, the Yankees honored the victims in Monday's terror attack in Manchester, England, by playing "God Save the Queen."
In his pregame media conference, Yankees manager Joe Girardi was asked about stadium security, and whether he was thinking about it more following the terrorist act.
"I think you always think about it," Girardi said. "I think our people have done a really good job of doing everything they can to protect our fans and protect the players and everyone involved that's here in this building -- you, me.
