Yanks, O's agree to deal for Zach Britton

The Yankees have agreed to a deal to acquire O's closer Zach Britton, pending physicals, according to MLB.com's Jon Paul Morosi.

Yankees No. 9 prospect Dillon Tate, who was scratched from his Double-A start on Tuesday, may be part of the package going to Baltimore. New York acquired Tate when it traded Carlos Beltran to the Rangers in 2016. The New York Post's Joel Sherman also reports Triple-A left-hander Josh Rogers is likely in the deal. Brandon Drury, who exited Tuesday's game vs. the Rays after he was hit on his left hand by a pitch, is not part of the deal, sources tell MLB.
