Yanks lose lead, game after 3 errors

Despite Aaron Judge's Major League-leading 25th home run, a three-run shot off Jesse Chavez that highlighted a four-run second inning, New York lost for the eighth time in nine games. Luis Severino squandered that 5-1 lead, charged with six runs (five earned) and eight hits over six-plus innings.

Maybin hit a leadoff home run, Pujols and Yunel Escobar flared RBI singles in the third inning, and Luis Valbuena added a run-scoring hit in the sixth off Severino, who lost for the first time since May 1. Castro and Brett Gardner drove in runs for the Yankees.
