TAMPA, Fla. -- Successful 2016 seasons for a pair of Yankees Minor Leaguers were rewarded on Saturday.
The club announced that outfielder Aaron Judge and right-handed pitcher Chance Adams were named the Kevin Lawn Award winners, given to the organization's top position player and pitcher for the prior season.
Past award winners include a number of New York All-Stars, including Derek Jeter, Don Mattingly and Andy Pettitte.
Judge played in 93 games at Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre before being called up to the big league club in August. The No. 45-ranked overall prospect by MLBPipeline.
