The ever-changing Yankees bullpen added another right-hander in the form of Esmil Rogers.
Rogers is making his second stint with New York this season. In a related move, the Yankees sent down infielder Gregorio Petit.
Looks like Gregorio Petit was sent down as the roster move for Esmil Rogers’ return.
Rogers struggled mightily in his time with the Yankees this season. In 18 games, Rogers posted a 6.27 earned run average. Rogers gave up 29 runs, 23 of which were earned in 33.0 innings of work.
The Yankees, lacking right-handed relief will look to Rogers to fill that void.
