SEATTLE -- The Astros made their second trade to bolster their bullpen in four days on Monday, acquiring right-hander Roberto Osuna from the Blue Jays in exchange for right-handed pitchers Ken Giles, David Paulino and Hector Perez, all of whom are in the Minor Leagues. Perez is ranked by MLB Pipeline as Houston's No. 10 prospect, while Paulino is ranked 23rd in the system.
Giles, the Astros' former closer, was sent to Triple-A Fresno on July 11 after cursing out manager AJ Hinch on the mound the previous day.
SEATTLE -- Mariners general manager Jerry Dipoto made two moves to bolster his team's bullpen for the playoff run on Monday, acquiring veteran lefty Zach Duke and cash from the Twins and right-hander Adam Warren from the Yankees.
