Yankes turn back to Clint Frazier at expense of fan favorite

This Clint Frazier call-up will last longer than the last one.

The Yankees brought the young outfielder back to the majors on Monday, recalling him from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.

They play 1 1/2 games Monday against the Nationals — one starting from the bottom of the sixth as a makeup, followed by a full one — but it doesn’t appear Frazier is the 26th man again, as he was during his one-day trip to the majors on June 4. The Yankees demoted Ronald Torreyes back to SWB in turn, as they appear to be going with the stronger bat.
