Chris Parmelee marked his first start in pinstripes with a pair of home runs and Carlos Beltran cleared the fences for the third straight game, helping to lead the Yankees to a 12-6 victory over the Angels on Wednesday night at Yankee Stadium.
Called up this week to replace the injured Mark Teixeira, Parmelee hooked a solo blast inside the right-field foul pole to begin a four-run sixth inning—during which Beltran hit a go-ahead double against right-hander Jered Weaver.
