NEW YORK -- It's not looking great.
But expect them to force it.
Lots of rain is in the forecast for Sunday night's Yankees-Mets game at Yankee Stadium. Thunderstorms, too. In fact, lightning stopped the Yankees from taking outdoor batting practice at about 5 p.m.
Here's the thing: The game will be on ESPN's "Sunday Night Baseball." And it's the last Mets-Yankees game of 2018. Hard to imagine the game getting outright postponed before it starts.
Here's what you need to know about the weather tonight, via the National Weather Service:
A chance of showers and thunderstorms, then showers likely after midnight.
