NEW YORK -- Tyler Austin finally learned his fate.
On Thursday, Austin's suspension was dropped to four games from five for charging the mound and inciting a benches-clearing brawl against the Red Sox in Fenway Park on April 11.
"I don't want to get into if I agree with (the decision) or not but I'm happy they knocked it one game down," said Austin, who appealed his initial ban. "I'm thankful for that.
He'll start serving it Friday when the Yankees head to face the Angels in California.
