Yankees trade with Indians; Red Sox bad blood done? 10 things to know

The Yankees brought in help for their decimated pitching staff on Saturday, acquiring righty reliever George Kontos from the Indians.

They sent cash back to Cleveland and sent Kontos to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.

They did it with J.A. Happ (hand, foot and mouth disease) on the disabled list, Sonny Gray struggling and Tommy Kahnle sent down to Triple-A to make room for Chance Adams, making his big-league debut vs. the Red Sox on Saturday in Fenway Park.

"I feel like we’re ready to go," Boone said. "I feel like we’re confident. I feel like the guys have a very good perspective on the fact that this is obviously a tough little stretch for us but I also believe that we’ll get it rolling here and we’re in the midst of what’s been a very good season and have a chance to have a special season.
