The New York Yankees recently reached out to the Mariners to discuss a possible trade for Dustin Ackley, according to Mark Feinsand of the New York Daily News.
The two sides reportedly discussed a deal that would send outfield prospects Ramon Flores and Ben Gamel would’ve gone to Seattle, but Mariners GM Jack Zduriencik wanted more for Ackley.
