Yankees trade ex-Met Ruben Tejada to Orioles

TORONTO -- It was Josh Donaldson Bobble Head Day at the Rogers Centre.

But Donaldson left the Yankees' heads shaking.

The 2015 American League MVP's solo blast in the eighth inning sank the Yankees, 3-2, on Sunday.

Donaldson's home run to right-center came off reliever Tyler Clippard in a full count to start the inning. The shot electrified the sold-out stadium with 46,782 fans.

It nullified yet another impressive outing from starting pitcher Luis Severino, who's quietly taking the mantle of staff ace as Masahiro Tanaka continues to struggle.

Severino lasted seven innings, giving up just two runs.
