Here we go again: The Yankees have called up Clint Frazier for the fourth time this season. As the corresponding move, David Hale has been designated for assignment.
Frazier most recently joined the team at the end of June when he filled in while Brett Gardner’s knee mended. He picked up four hits during that short stint, and is hitting .350/.458/.450 across 20 major league at-bats this season.
Red Thunder has been swinging a hot bat in Scranton, too. He collected seven hits over his last five games, and three of those were home runs.
